NEW FACEBOOK PROFILE DESIGN

As ReadWriteWeb reported, there is a new design in the works for the Profile page on Facebook. The focus on this page is the Mini-feed. It really breaks up the different parts of Facebook. There are different tabs for Friends, Applications and Inbox.
I like that Facebook really continues to push their product to be better. They are obviously one of the most popular destinations on the web, but they continue to try new things and innovate. While they’ve gotten a ton of bad press for mistakes like Beacon, they aren’t afraid to take chances and risk offending their users to make their product better. They stick to their vision and don’t apologize for that.
It’s encouraging to me to not always be running to implement the suggestions that people make. But rather, to take input and use that to educate and inform myself to make better decisions about the final product.
