SENIOR MOST LIKELY TO BUILD A FACEBOOK APPLICATION

I guess that would be me. Yesterday I launched my first Facebook application. It’s called Senior Most. The idea behind is that seniors in high school can vote for their classmates (or themselves) for Senior Most awards. This is the project I spoke of in my post about the competition. There is a similar application that caters to the general population. My idea was to cater specifically to seniors in high school. All Facebook users can use the app (except if you haven’t been a senior in high school yet).

I would appreciate any and all feedback. You can either leave comments on this site, or within Facebook you can go to the Senior Most page and add to the discussion board. I hope to continue improving upon this application adding features as we go.

Overall, I’m happy with it as a first iteration and first Facebook application. I know that there can be improvements in the code and in the product that I will roll out as they come up.

On the technical side, I used the CodeIgniter PHP framework on a LAMP server set-up. We’ll see if there are any scaling issues. Hopefully we’ll run into that problem.
